About Our Practice

Aegis Medical USA provides virtual, evidence-based care for opioid and alcohol use disorders. Patients get telehealth access to U.S.-licensed addiction specialists offering Suboxone, Sublocade, counseling, and recovery support. We serve all 50 states, with an emphasis on Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky.

Telehealth Services

Our primary mode of treatment is through telehealth (virtual appointments). By scheduling a telehealth appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following: 

• You will receive a HIPAA-compliant video link via email to join your appointment 

• No downloads are needed; you can join from any device with internet access 

• You are responsible for ensuring a private, confidential space for your appointment 

• Telehealth appointments are as confidential and secure as in-person visits 

Patient Eligibility and Consultation

All new patients must complete a consultation with a licensed provider to determine eligibility. We reserve the right to make clinical decisions based on your health history and needs.  

Our services are for adults seeking treatment for opioid or alcohol use disorders. 

Prescriptions and Medications

As part of your treatment, our licensed providers may prescribe medications such as Suboxone or Sublocade. By receiving our services, you agree to the following: 

• Prescriptions are sent electronically to your local U.S. pharmacy for same-day pickup 

• We coordinate with major pharmacy chains (CVS, Walgreens, etc.) and independent pharmacies 

• It is your responsibility to fill and pick up your prescriptions in a timely manner 

• You must inform your provider of any changes to your pharmacy or medications 

Appointments and Cancellations

Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated missed appointments may affect your treatment plan. 

SMS Communication

By providing your mobile phone number to Aegis Medical USA, you consent to receive SMS messages related to: 

• Appointment reminders and confirmations 

• Prescription pickup notifications 

• Treatment updates and follow-up care 

• Important clinic announcements 

Message and data rates may apply. Reply “STOP” to opt out at any time. You will receive a confirmation message, and no further SMS will be sent unless
you opt back in.  

For help or assistance, reply “HELP” to any SMS message or contact our office directly. 

We do not share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes. SMS is used only for treatment-related and operational purposes. 

Payment and Insurance

We make treatment affordable and accessible for all patients. 

Insurance 

Most insurance plans, including Medicaid, HAP, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, United, Priority, and Aetna, cover our services. Please call us to verify your coverage. 

Self-Pay 

We offer affordable self-pay options for patients without insurance coverage. 

Payment 

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. Patients are responsible for any costs not covered by insurance. 

Privacy and HIPAA Compliance

Your privacy is important to us. We comply with HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), the U.S. federal standard for protecting medical information. All telehealth sessions and patient data are encrypted and secure. No one is notified about your treatment unless you consent.

Limitations of Service

Aegis Medical USA provides outpatient addiction treatment. We are not a detox center, rehab facility, or crisis intervention service. If you need a higher level of care, we will connect you with accredited U.S. detox centers or rehabs that align with your treatment plan.

All content on this site – including text, graphics, logos, and images – is the property of Aegis Medical USA and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our written consent. 

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aegis Medical USA is not liable for damages arising from your use of our website or services. Any liability related to your care is limited to the scope of our professional medical services and governed by applicable U.S. law. 

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
